About This Project

In 2008, in a search for more ways to connect with our core conference audience and spread the word of our great program to a broader Internet audience, we decided to live tweet Brainstorm: TECH. I managed the account, reaching out to all of our participants to alert them about the existence of the feed, and inviting them to follow along.  I tweeted live from the conference, growing the audience far beyond the initial group by the end of the conference 2.5 days later.  Since then, the audience has grown to over 800, and we have used the page to send updates about all Fortune conferences.
